Perform all assigned warehouse tasks through safe, efficient, cost effective and accurate handling of customer products and materials using manual labour and equipment including forklift, reach truck and pallet jack Track and monitor inbound and outbound container status; and plan and coordinate loading and unloading of goods Timely loading and unloading of goods; and take photos of the unstuffing process to verify if there are damaged and/or discrepancy of goods received After unstuffing, check and take photos of the containers to ensure that the containers are externally sound and undamaged Submit the photos taken during and after the unstuffing process to the customer service department before returning the containers to depot appointed by the carriers to avoid disputes concerning the condition of returned containers as well as discrepancy in goods received Ensure prompt reporting of any suspected or apparent damage of containers and missing and/or damaged goods to the immediate supervisor Responsible for moving, sorting, labelling, repacking, stacking and storage control of goods Accurately locate and pick, both by hand and by using appropriate equipment including forklift and reach truck, from pallets, racks and shelves and the staging area Packing and/re-packing goods according customer specifications Release cargo for deliveries and self collections by customers Manage returned goods and conduct investigation on causes of returns; and provide feedback to team lead for recommendation of solutions Update warehouse management system and inventory status in client’s system Conduct stock take periodically and report discrepancies, if any Scanning of delivery orders duly signed by customers with company stamp Inspect equipment used in warehouse periodically and report any abnormalities or mechanical failures to the team lead to arrange for repair and servicing Responsible for housekeeping to ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a clean, neat, safe and orderly manner Comply with company regulations and rules at all times Perform general works and/or other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or authorised personnelQualifications: Experienced in operating forklift, reach truck and pallet jack Physically fit to lift goods Able to read and comprehend basic English Possess basic Math skills Must have attention to details Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with colleagues and customers in basic English and; in a professional and positive manner A diligent and an excellent team player with flexibility to extend support during manpower shortage and with commitment to collaborate with other functions of the Company Ability to use computer and scanner; and knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures are distinct advantagesLocation of Work: 7 Clementi LoopWorking Hours: Monday to Friday : 8am - 5pmSaturday : 8am - 12noon
