**What the role is**
- Assistant Manager/ Manager (Digitisation)

The Heritage Conservation Centre (HCC), an institution under the National Heritage Board, plays a leading role in heritage conservation in Singapore. It is also the repository and conservation facility for the management and preservation of Singapore’s National Collection (NC).

Artworks and artefacts are part of the National Collection and are under the custody of the National Heritage Board (NHB), Singapore. NHB preserves, presents and promotes the cultural heritage of Singapore, for the purpose of education, nation-building and cultural understanding. As part of the HCC team working on documentation and providing digital access to our National Collection, **you will**:

- Develop the roadmap for digitising of NC to facilitate access for both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop procedures, processes, and workflows within the HCC for the digitising of NC and managing of these digital surrogates. This includes but not limited to documenting in 3D models for conservation purposes, working with external parties on the developing of 3D printed mounts, and storage needs of these digital files.
- Review and recommend tools and technology to advance digitisation of NC for varied purposes, such as general documentation, reconstruction of NC through 3D data and creating of 3D mounts.
- Work with other NHB colleagues to develop/streamline processes and requirements for efficient management of such digital surrogates, such as storage needs, development for exhibition needs etc.

**Requirements**:

- Background in related field e.g., fine arts, computer science, digital animation, and museum studies
- Preferably at least 6 years of experience in related field of digital documentation, 3D scanning, 3D modelling and/or photogrammetry, museums, galleries etc.
- Possess strong and persuasive presentation skills
- Strong organisational, project management, and inter-personal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess positive attitude, strong communication, presentation and writing skills
- Willing to learn and able to multi-task and handle multiple projects concurrently
