- Perform installations, preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic /electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at ASM’s global customer locations.
- Read and interpret engineering prints/specifications, electrical schematics, manuals, and/or verbal/written instructions/procedures to determine necessary assembly of equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls utilizing Multimeter, Amp meter etc
- Position, erect, align, level; position sub-assemblies, units, and separates components and integrate their operations; perform fitting, aligning, timing, calibrating, and other operations incidental to the mechanical assembly of the machine.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strictly follows all safety requirements for hand and power tool operation, the assembly of parts, hoist operation, and housekeeping.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or its equivalent, otherwise relevant years of experience will be considered.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, and bills of materials is essential
- Proven experience and knowledge in mechanical assembly of machines.
- Ability to safely and correctly use hand and power tools and precision measurement devices
- Good communication skills in English
- Able to work rotating 12-hour (day & night) shift in clean room environment and do some heavy lifting work
- Knowledge in any or all of the following areas is a plus:

- Wafer fab environment
- closed loop gas and vacuum control
- electro pneumatic controls
- microprocessor based controllers
- robotics
- basic concepts of software
- toxic and/or flammable gasses and acids
