We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary: Part of Enterprise Platform Growth department within the newly formed Global Product Services division, the Strategic Payment Consultant APAC being is commercial arm of the Product team, in close partnership with sales teams and merchants.

Be part of our Product & Growth Optimization department within the newly formed Global Product Services division. The role of Strategic Payment Consultant APAC is a commercial arm of the Product team working in close partnership with sales teams and merchants.***
**Meet our team***
Working in a global matrix, this role will report directly offshore while firming close local partnerships across the APAC region. The team is critical to maximizing the value we deliver to our clients on an ongoing basis. The work enables PayPal to identify new value-add opportunities for existing clients and figure out how to build and deliver on those opportunities in partnership with Sales, Account Management, Product and Support. The work also supports go-forward solution selling efforts to new prospective merchants by deepening our understanding of target merchants and delivering product pitches of best platform fit.
**Your way to impact***
- This position is part of a team of payments experts who are responsible for making sure we deliver payment excellence for our enterprise merchant offering.
- Global role - interfacing with PayPal org/offices/teams and our clients and partners.
- Evangelize - Serve as a thought leader for enterprise merchants (merchant communication, conferences, partners, webinars etc.).
- Client aptitude - Direct involvement with global and large enterprise clients on an ongoing basis. Sales teams support and expert advice for closing deals with Large Enterprise Merchants with a focus in APAC.
- Distill the complex - Key contributor for training and education in areas such as payments and broader commerce ecosystem for rest of organization.
- A connector - Partner with Product and Engineering, Finance, Support, Global Sales, Professional Services, and Account Management, as well as leveraging external partnerships that are built over time, to deliver for our business.
**In your day-to-day role you will**
- Responsible for the delivery of key initiatives to expand our platform capabilities and ensure Sales and Accounts win/expand payment processing deals on a global level.
- Partnership development for new markets, platform solutions, and payment processing across the world as required to fill Platform needs.
- Influence the Platform’s product roadmap to meet the processing, payout, and mulit-lateral needs of merchants and marketplaces.
