**Shipping Officer
**Job Location : Jurong West**

**Industry : Freight Forwarding**

**Benefits : Basic + Overtime + VB ; 5.5 days work week ( Alternate saturdays after confirmation )
**Job Scope**:

- Arrange and coordinate import/export shipments according to customer’s requirements including its documentations
- Arrange booking and coordinate all shipping activities
- Arrange timely collections/ Dispatch according to customer’s request
- Handle systems transactions in freight system
- Work closely with overseas agents / office, various loaders / co-loaders, vendors and warehouse
- Responsible for tracing of goods en-route or any problem arise and forward information or pre-alerts to customers
- Participate in freight sourcing process and comparing of quotation
- Prepare shipping documents such as invoice, B/L, permit declaration etc
- Liaising with customers or/and airlines, transporter and overseas offices
- Generating invoices to the closing of files
- Ensure all paperwork are in order and in compliance with the Company’s policies
- Ensure timely biling and accuracy of the invoice
- Attend and responds on customer’s inquiry

**Job Requirement**
- Must be shipping experience
- Must be open and honest
- Need quick response and reporting in case of any irregularities
- Must be accurate in terms of counting / verification
- Must be time-bound on job completion (i.e. within the set turn-around time, need to complete jobs)
- Must be particular on the procedures set forth
