Singapore EAGLE BULK SHIP MANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

The Vetting Superintendent reports to the Global Head of HSSEQ and will be responsible for vessel inspections & audits for assigned vessels under Eagle Ship Management Singapore Pte Ltd.

**Main responsibilities**
- Planning, preparation & monitoring performance of the assigned fleet through all internal and external inspections and the related findings and notations.
- Coordinating with inspecting authorities and bodies and ensuring effective and timely closure of all issued findings and notations through various inspections and audits.
- The Vetting Superintendent will be the direct contact with Right Ships & other vetting bodies.
- To ensure investigation & analysis is conducted for all incidents across the fleet of vessels as instructed by the manager, in close cooperation with the marine & technical teams. and the industry's special requirements and render marine support to ships as appropriate.

He / She shall further:

- Ensure smooth communication between vessel fleet and shore teams in relation to inspections and related findings.
- Support as required in resolving matters affecting fleet operations in relation to findings from inspections and audits and assure owners and charterers and authorities by way of informing measures being taken to address findings.
- Schedule all planned external inspections and inform relevant team members.
- Work closely with technical, marine, and crewing team to prepare vessels for all vetting inspections.
- Be the person in charge for maintaining Right Ship Records and interrelating closely with Right Ships for all matters related to Right Ship scores, inspections and fleet performances.
- Maintain data base of all findings through audits and inspections and categorize them in line with company requirements.
- Lead and coordinate all incident investigations and analysis of Incident findings and follow up on findings.
- Prepare fleet experience transfers basis findings and actions identified.
- Participate in Management Reviews and ensure actions decided upon are implemented for quality assurance.
- Audit and Inspect vessels as needed.
- Back up HSSEQ manager as needed.
- Attend to additional duties as decided in discussion with manager.
