**What the role is**
- The primary role of ASI is to ensure that ancillary services such as supplying water to vessels, cargo operations at private wharves, and collection of garbage and flotsam run smoothly in port.

As Manager (ASI), you will lead the following workstreams:

- Garbage collection services and flotsam clearance services in the Port of Singapore;
- Water sales and supply in waterfront facilities; and
- Cargo operations in private wharves.

As the workstream lead for

(i) garbage and flotsam collection,

(ii) water sales and supply in waterfront facilities and

(iii) cargo operations in private wharves, your key duties are Project Management
- Managing the procurement and delivery of services, keeping up to date with the contracts
- Ensuring Contractors are complying with the contracts’ requirement specifications
- Preparing monthly reports to update management on work done Policy Development
- Reviewing policies and processes related to the abovementioned workstreams - Representing ASI and MPA in inter-agency workgroups on marine litter Daily Operations
- Reviewing and approving matters relating to water supply, operation private wharves, and garbage and flotsam collection
- Managing public feedback on marine litter and garbage collection, carrying out investigations when necessary. Capability Development
- Leading autonomous flotsam craft project
- Overseeing development of new water sales system and new marine refuse system

**Requirements**:

- Project management experience would be an added advantage
- Prior experience in operational roles in maritime-related sectors would be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Good interpersonal skills and adept in managing different stakeholders, including members of the public.
- Good writing skills
- Ability to analyse policies, review processes and to put forth strong recommendations to the Senior Management team in the areas of maritime ancillary services
- Good project management skills—able to work well in a team, manage contractors and keep to deadlines
