Team Manager, Telesales

As a Telesales Team Manager, you will lead and manage a sales team of GI Specialist to achieve and exceed Personal Line Targets through effective team management. You hold a key position in developing and coaching of a sales team to help them meet and exceed account management and retention goals by motivation and demonstration. Success in this role directly impacts the growth and development of our GI Specialists while helping to fuel the continued success of the organization.
**Job Functions/Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the sales team and meeting or exceeding all SLA and KPIs
- Provide GI Specialist with sales techniques coaching to ensure conformity to sales presentation standards, and sales opportunities are fully maximized
- Track team sales results, conduct performance review and document GI Specialist’s improvement plan to upkeep sales performance and service professionalism
- Analyze various KPIs and results to come up with the initiatives in further improving sales performance for individual GI Specialist as well as the team level
- Lead, inspire and mentor the GI Specialist to create motivated and engaged team, to build a high performing team with cohesive team spirit
- Co-ordinate with various stakeholders within and outside Telesales department to achieve business goals and operational efficiency
- Handle 1st level complaint escalated by GI Specialist and provide one call resolution
- Live calls monitoring to ensure accurate product information, and GI Specialist meets all customer satisfaction
- Work closely with Quality Assurance team to drive consistent high quality services & counsel GI Specialist on service lapse and sales quality issues
**Qualifications**
- Minimum Diploma with relevant telesales experience
- Experience in insurance industry with relevant insurance qualifications, i.e. BCP, PGI, HI, preferably M5 & M9
- Possess good verbal & written communication and customer service skills
- Strong leadership with team leader experience in insurance industry to lead the Outbound team to achieve the set sales target
- Highly motivated and sales-oriented
- Driven to achieve set target and passionate in sales
- IT Savvy and able to multi-task
