Diver

**This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.**

Tasks and Responsibilities*
- Carry out diving/subsea related works within yard vicinity and bases
- Ensure safe operation of docks.
- Perform under water alignment of vessels, blanking of sea chests & preparation of keel blocks for docking.
- Contribute idea to improve working methods. Ensure tools & equipment are maintained & in good conditions.
- Keep watch in his designated dock control room during ship's ballasting/ de ballasting.
- To inspect and test dock equipment regularly, record, report defects and monitors the repairs and maintenances done
- To update the inventory on the block’s movements, usage and damages
- Housekeeping for the upper decks, pontoon decks and the control room.
- Routine check on all mooring lines and gangways of all vessels alongside the docks
- To perform underwater alignment of vessels during docking operation, checking of propeller entanglement of rope, and blanking of sea chest etc.
- Maintain Good housekeeping at all the time.
- Must have few years of yard experience & knowledge of Diving.
- Must have knowledge of Docking / Undocking.
- Good understanding of Mooring/Unmooring and behavior of vessel when movement operation
- Able to identify problems and take corrective actions which can delay the project schedule. Familiar with shipyard safety rules and regulation and MOM Requirement.
- GCE 'O' Level
- Certified in CSCUBA preferred (certificate issued by MOM approved training centre)
