- Experience determining export authorization requirements for internal business teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and management of compliance projects and programs; prioritization, planning and task delegation.

AWS is looking for a highly motivated Export Compliance Manager to manage and execute export controls implementations and export licensing frameworks in Singapore and the APAC region.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop, implement strategic controls compliance processes and solutions to meet APAC region export regulatory licensing and compliance including Singapore TradeFirst and Strategic Trade Scheme (STS) bulk permit, driving continuous improvements.
- Export controls licensing implementation and maintenance, and classification of Strategic Goods (Control) Regulations dual-use items
- Manage and facilitate successful internal and regulatory audits
- Partner with APAC region Export Compliance team leaders
- Monitor regulatory changes.
- Create metrics for management reporting
- Drive export compliance process improvement.
- Communicate project status to stakeholder teams.
- Innovate control mechanisms to best meet business goals and compliance requirements.
