Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

We are presently seeking a Senior QA Technician that will support the current team to fulfilled customer's expectation.

**Main Responsibilities;**
- Perform First Article Test (FAT) and First Article Inspection (FAI);
- Perform incoming inspection and evaluate disposition for IQA non
- conforming defect;
- Support RMA inspection activities and assist failure analysis on customer returns;
- Record inspection data and results into respective inspection report;
- Assist QA Engineer on the following;
- Verify newly established Inspection Plan vs Drawing Specifications;
- Report if found any discrepancy on part drawing;
- Recommend methods or techniques of inspection;
- Support Section Leader on planning for urgent jobs;
- Liaise with Section in-charge for any clarification related to works;
- Feedback issues to Section In-charge & seek help to solve the issues on daily basis;
- Carry out basic maintenance of measuring equipment such as Interferometers, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Smart Scope, Profile Projector and other small equipment (Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, etc), and monitor the calibration status;
- Undertake additional QA responsibilities as and when required and assigned (such as In-Process, Final Inspection, etc.);
- Create part programing for Coordinate Measuring Machine and Smart Scope;
- Establish Part Inspection Standard on CMM for every part programing.

**Requirements;**
- Nitec, Diploma or equivalent;
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience within manufacturing industry;
- Prefer experience in Optics industry;
- Ability to read and write English;
- Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings to carry out result recording;
- Clear understanding of good documentation practices and quality system regulations and requirements;
- Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills;
- Good leadership skills and ability to suggest change;
- Knowledge of and adherence to quality system;
- Substantial understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work;
- Using of measurement equipment such as: Interferometers, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Smart Scope, Profile Projector, etc.

- 1. Primary role to support inspection for Optics parts for both production and FAT to avoid delaying in incoming inspection for releasing to Production that could affect OTD. 2. Secondary role to support requests from Engineering/QA/Production department for failure analysis on internal and customer complaints.
