**What you will be responsible for**:

- Prior Art Search: Conduct comprehensive prior art searches to assess the novelty and non-obviousness of inventions, using various databases and search tools to identify relevant prior art references.
- Technical Analysis: Analyze and evaluate technical aspects of inventions to determine patentability, validity, and infringement potential, providing technical insights and recommendations to support patent prosecution strategies.
- Patent Prosecution Support: Assist patent attorneys in preparing responses to office actions from patent offices worldwide, including drafting technical arguments, amendments, and supporting documentation to overcome objections and secure patent rights.
- Patent Portfolio Management: Assist in the maintenance and management of our patent portfolio, including tracking deadlines, monitoring patent prosecution progress, and coordinating patent-related activities with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
- Patent Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of patent strategies aligned with business goals and technology trends, including identifying new patent opportunities, evaluating competitive landscapes, and assessing risks and opportunities associated with intellectual property.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with inventors, patent attorneys, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather technical information, review patent-related documents, and facilitate communication and understanding of patent matters.
- Intellectual Property Education: Provide training and educational resources to inventors and other team members on intellectual property concepts, patent processes, and best practices to promote awareness and understanding of IP protection strategies.
- Stay Informed: Stay abreast of developments in patent law, regulations, and industry trends relevant to our technology areas, continuously updating knowledge and skills to enhance patent prosecution effectiveness and efficiency.

**How you will stand out**:

- Master's degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical expertise in the technology areas of Semiconductor, Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, with a demonstrated understanding of complex engineering principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with patent laws, regulations, and procedures, preferably with experience in patent prosecution or intellectual property management.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough prior art searches and analyze technical documents effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in patent search tools and databases (e.g., PatentScope, Espacenet, USPTO databases) and familiarity with patent drafting software is a plus.
