**Roles & Responsibilities**
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Work with the team to carry out the annual ORSA exercise and present the report to the Management Committee, Board Risk Management Committee and Board
- Work with Actuarial Department on the construction of stress test scenarios and perform in-depth analysis on the Company’s solvency position
- Work with Investment Department on Asset-Liability Management (ALM) strategies and activities
- Develop the quantitative risk appetite, reviewing and setting limits against solvency and other risk appetite dimensions
- Independently reviewing the Matching Adjustment portfolio management and computation
- Maintain and enhance the Capital Management & Recovery Plan
- Work with key stakeholders to enhance the Company’s Model Risk Management
- Monitor insurance and financial risk exposure using tools such as key risk indicators
- Propose and implement new financial risk policies, practices and solutions to ensure holistic understanding and management of risks according to company, group and industry best practices. This includes processes that enhance strategies, plans and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report financial risks.
- Support the objectives of the Risk Management department, and assist the Board of Directors and Management in their risk oversight roles
- Support CRO in the review of risks associated with new products
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by the CRO

Business
- Involved in the formulation of key ALM strategies, providing insights and suggestions from a risk management perspective
- Support CRO in the yearly Business Planning exercise and other key strategic initiatives
- Partner with key business stakeholders in identifying and assessing risks and controls, including financial, operational, strategic and insurance risks.

Leadership
- Provide guidance to risk management team colleagues on Financial Risk related matters

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Actuarial / Mathematics / Economics or other related fields
- Associate or Fellow of a recognized actuarial body
- At least 7 years’ experience in the financial/insurance industry with proven track record in financial risk management
- Deep understanding of financial risk areas and associated regulatory requirements (e.g. MAS Notice 126, MAS Notice 133, IFRS, Risk Management Guidelines)
- Good knowledge of asset and liability valuation, including stress testing and sensitivity analysis
- Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical and concise in approach
- Excellent communication & presentation skills, independent and collaborative approach to issues
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to challenge 1st Line colleagues where necessary
- Good conceptual and critical thinking, interpersonal & social skills, business acumen, self-motivated and team player
- Strong Excel skills and VBA skills would be advantageous
- Competent knowledge in Prophet would be preferred
