We are seeking a Part-time/Freelance **Jewelry Design Teacher**who can (1) mentor teens/pre-university students toward portfolio submissions for top design schools and (2) lead **exploratory art & jewelry**classes for children aged 5-12.

**Job Scope — University Portfolio (Teens/Pre-U)**

Guide full design cycle: research ideation sketch/tech drawing prototype final
- presentation.
- Bench basics: measuring, forming, texturing, cold connections; **demo**soldering/annealing with strict safety.
- Wax carving & lost-wax casting (incl. vendor coordination); basic stone-setting **demos**.
- Intro CAD (Rhino/Matrix/Fusion/Blender) & 3D printing for prototyping/casting.
- Set milestones; give timely feedback; update parents when appropriate.

**Job Scope — Kids Exploratory (Ages 5-12)**
- Fun, inquiry-based sessions blending fine art & beginner jewelry.
- Safe materials: polymer clay, shrink plastic, soft wire, beads/knotting, felt, air-dry clay; **teacher-operated**UV/low-heat tools only.
- Sample projects: charms, friendship bracelets, pins, clay beads, festive pieces.Simple process: mood board quick sketch prototype
- mini presentation; adjust for 5-8 vs 9-12.
- Positive class management; clear safety rules; tidy tool stations.

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 yrs teaching/pro experience in jewelry/metals; **portfolio required**.
- Degree in Jewelry/Metals/Accessory Design.
- Strong bench skills & small machinery (flex shaft/tumbler/polisher); excellent safety culture.
- CAD & rapid prototyping a plus.
- Experience teaching **children 5-12**; patient, energetic communicator.Evenings/weekends availability
