**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Planning**:Develop a solid understanding of the global / regional marketing & PR strategy; adapt and implement a retailer strategy that meets the business and Brand priorities and the local market needs.
- **Campaign Management**:Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, events, and experiential marketing, tailored to the regional audience. Specifically, for model launches, working with the retailer network to develop a holistic localized launch plan aligned with the regional strategy
- **Branding**:Lead the National Brand campaign for Australia market to increase brand desirability and penetration, ensuring all marketing and PR initiatives align with the brand’s vision and values while resonating with local audiences. As regional McLaren ambassador, represent, guide, and assess retailer alignment to global brand guidelines.
- **Media Relations**:Build and maintain strong relationships with key local media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Plan, implement and manage public relations programs to proactively generate positive media coverage for McLaren’s models and initiatives. Create impactful press releases, press kits, and related media materials.
- **Event Coordination**:Lead the planning and execution of regional events, including product launches, motorsport events, and client engagement activities.
- **Retailer Marketing**:Responsible for reviewing retailer marketing & PR plans and ensuring the plans specifically address that market’s sales challenges and maximizes opportunities to grow brand awareness and McLaren segment share.
- **Market Analysis**:Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitive landscape, and emerging trends. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely and build a network within the global marketing and PR teams, sales department, regional retailers and local agencies to ensure cohesive messaging and brand representation.
- **Budget Management**:Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact. Support retailers in budget projections considering order targets, market priorities and retailer profitability.
- **Performance Measurement**:Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing and PR initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement of activation quality and KPIs, ROI, and processes.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- **Experience**:5+ years of experience in marketing and public relations, preferably in the automotive or luxury / prestige brands sector.
- **Skills**:
- Proven track record of successful campaign management and media relations.
- Experience in product launch campaign-marketing, including presenting, internal reporting
- Experience integrating and delivering brand / product awareness and lead generation campaigns
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive creative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities to support sales goals and objectives.
