Job description & Roles:
**_Roles & Responsibilities _**:
The Project Engineer is required to provide support and assistance to Project Manager/ Director for job secured and organize:

- project plans and facilitates for project execution with key stakeholders. He/she works with authorities and agencies to set up procedures and requirements for projects.
- He/she conducts briefings to highlight procedures and safety precautions, and monitors final pressure testing and turn-on of gas supply. He/she also gathers approved bills to monitor costs and control budgets. He/she provides on-the-job training to develop staff capability. **_Location of Job: _**:

- He/she works in the office and at customers' sites, including infrastructure such as road & tunnel projects ,domestic, commercial and industrial buildings

- He/she displays good communication and interpersonal skills in coordinating with key stakeholders.
- He/she is analytical and systematic in monitoring works performed for projects, ensuring they are completed in accordance with the Codes of Practice, regulations and project requirements.

The Engineer monitors and reports on all project activities to management. He/she monitors project timeline and guides a team of junior engineers. He/she acts as the company representative in relation to customers. He/she oversees all aspects of work site health, safety and quality assurance. He/she is required to attend site meetings and safety meetings. He/she works outdoors for long hours.

**_Tasks _**
- Analyse customers' feedback on town gas projects to propose actions.
- Analyse financial and statistical reports on budgeting and procurement.
- Conduct briefing sessions to junior team members and to vendors to highlight procedures and safety precautions.
- Develop staff using capability development interventions and on-the-job training.
- Facilitate project execution with key stakeholders.
- Gather quotations and tax invoices for projects/supplier
- Monitor performance of contractors/subcontractors to ensure project completion.
- Organise communication and sharing sessions on good work practices.
- Plan project schedules for teams.
- Procure stocks of supplies for projects.
- Recommend training and development courses for staff. Review data of projects& markets and records in systems.
- Revise work procedures to improve project coordination and set up procedures and requirements for projects.
- Assess and measure site to ensure specifications are met.
- Oversee establishment of workplace health and safety plan.
- Plan daily work with sub-contractors to ensure project timelines are met. &Supervise junior engineers/ Supervisors / foreman to ensure tasks are carried out properly at each level.
- feasibility study to develop basic and detailed engineering designs.
- Manage budget and resources to ensure timely project completion. Manage project to ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
- Motivate team members and develop their skills. Oversee workplace safety to ensure work is performed according to workplace safety procedures.
