We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Senior Manager, Transaction Risk Management.**

**Principal Responsibilities**

The Transaction Risk Management job category is responsible for the effective identification, assessment, ongoing management, monitoring and mitigation of existing transaction risk for Commercial clients. This job ensures customer relationship management, customer exits, returns to business as usual, deal endorsements, developing effective strategies for managing complex trade credit insurance claims, litigation and recovery costs.

This job category will carry out some or all of the following activities:

- Review and endorse Structured Trade finance facilities, including Commodities Trade Finance, Receivable Finance and Supply Chain Finance
- Critical assessment of Financial and non-financial risks of facilities offered to Commodity clients, including Transaction approvals
- Manage portfolio risk management of GTRF products, including Core Trade and Structured Trade Finance, by analytical tools
- Conduct identification, assessment, ongoing management, monitoring and mitigation of existing transaction risk for all GTRF products
- Manage account receivables, aging analysis for instant credit control; ability to identify red flags in seller’s overpaid and/or buyer overdues
- Monitor and where necessary, recommend actions to maintain a healthy level of facility utilization
Requirements
- Previous experience in Commodity Finance, Core Trade, Supply chain and Receivable finance. In particular, Commodity Trade Finance facility risk assessments, collateral management and mark-to-market etc
- Good knowledge of Trade Credit Insurance
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong attentiveness to detail, with ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong Communication, interpersonal and organization skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point and the use of market platforms like Bloomberg
