In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Risk team and internal cross-functional team members (e.g business solution, channel ops, product, technology)
- Participate and support the Risk team in special projects/initiatives to innovate and implement improvements to processes and/or systems by making recommendations, troubleshooting technical issues, and refining workflows
- Coordinate and track multiple projects concurrently, from conceptualization to delivery
- Contribute to the design of the fraud management framework
- Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting information, analyzing processes, and presenting findings to cross functional teams and stakeholders

**Qualifications**:

- Third year or final year student with majors in business administration or finance
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and execute tasks with only general supervision
- Willing to work in a high-paced environment where you may need to shift priorities quickly with effective time management
- Detail oriented, but able to see the big picture
- Strong problem-solving ability; self-starter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms, and effectively influence both peers and senior leadership
- Prior knowledge of the payment or financial services industry is a plus
- Experience using SQL is a plus
