**Background to & purpose of role**

**Key responsibilities**

To assist in creating, editing and uploading content to support marketing and digital initiatives for CMC Invest Singapore

**Tasks**:

- Spearhead localisation of copy and content related to marketing, branding, and communications.
- Work on tasks that fall outside of projects, including some regular weekly or monthly jobs and other ad-hoc work.
- Upload new or update existing content, and create and edit web pages, using our bespoke content management system.
- Own the CMC Markets tone of voice and house style in Singapore.
- Work closely with the marketing & digital teams and regional offices to ensure best practice is always followed.
- Work collaboratively as part of project teams to coordinate content as needed, providing regular progress reports to all stakeholders, clearly identifying priorities and delivery timescales.
- Collaborate with and edit articles produced by market analysts, as required, ensuring they fit our tone of voice and are fully optimised for maximum SEO benefit.
- Conceptualise and produce thought leadership articles for editorial and content marketing purposes.
- Support offline activities with the creation of sales and client-facing collateral.
- Ensure all outputs are in line with regulatory guidelines and appropriately approved by Legal & Compliance in a timely manner.
- Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
- Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

**Essential criteria**
- Copywriting, editorial and/or content-editing experience
- A proactive attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A proven ability to write engaging, accurate copy
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent proof-reading and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise work and work well under pressure
- Experience writing SEO-friendly content

**Desirable criteria**
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Experience or knowledge in investing and a keen interest in finance, economic and political news
- Interest in data and analytics
- Interest in digital and social media marketing
- Experience working in an internal creative or marketing team
- An awareness of the importance of regulation in the industry
- Commercial experience and/or relevant degree
- A background in financial services and content marketing would be a plus
