About the team you are joining

The role of Analyst, IATA Consulting is to support business development initiatives, participate in the delivery of Consulting projects, and contribute to the life of the Consulting practice, focusing primarily on projects in Asia-Pacific and North Asia. The position reports to the Principal, IATA Consulting, and is based in Singapore.

What your day would be like

The Analyst is expected to:
Support business development initiatives under the supervision of the Principal, IATA Consulting, or other senior team members as necessary:

- Monitor the release of public tenders for a given client, segment, or geography;
- Conduct research in support of commercial opportunity qualification;
- Contribute supporting content to technical proposals;
- Prepare materials in support of client pitch presentations.

Participate in the delivery of Consulting projects, either locally or anywhere globally, under the supervision of the Principal, IATA Consulting, or other senior team members:

- Hold responsibility for individual project tasks and contribute to team deliverables in a timely and quality as directed.
- Carry out analytical, research, and synthesis work towards the project delivery, including the development of Excel models, the formalization of Word and PowerPoint reports, and the preparation of PowerPoint presentations;
- Attend client meetings and contribute to their facilitation, including through keeping minutes and answering questions about detailed aspects of the analysis;
- Seek advice, guidance, and peer review from senior team members as and when needed to ensure swift progress and sound methodological choices.

Contribute to the life of the Consulting practice:

- Occasionally support either knowledge management, intellectual property creation, industry benchmark maintenance, new product development, preparation of internal team events, keeping track of industry conferences, etc. as and when directed;
- Follow internal procedures including providing timely self-appraisals, timesheets, expense reports, etc. in accordance with IATA policies and Consulting procedures;
- Proactively seek performance feedback and training.

Any other duties as assigned by the Principal, IATA Consulting, or other senior members of the team.

We would love to hear from you if
- You have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent degree.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience (internships included), preferably with exposure to consulting and/or the aviation or transportation industry and assets.
- Excellent level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in English. Strong command of Mandarin Chinese would be a definite advantage to support projects in the North Asia region.
- Strong analytical mindset.
