Singapore Bethesda CARE Centre Full time

Reporting to the Centre Manager, the incumbent for Centre Executive position is a full-time permanent position supporting students with Autism and other developmental disabilities, providing curriculum planning, manages classroom, facilitating teaching and assisting in administration duties at BCARE Joy Connection (JOYC). This position is created to equip the incumbent for future succession roles and responsibilities.

**I Teaching and Classroom Management**

1. Supervise students with learning difficulties and ensure that all daily homework assigned by the schools is

completed before the child returns home.

2. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and discipline in the classroom.

3. Assess students’ skills to determine their gaps and to develop a curriculum adapting to the needs of the

students.

4. Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities.

**II Provide for Students’ Welfare**

5. Fetch students from schools/pick-up points, and ensure the safety of the students at all times.

6. Communicate and work closely with parents or the Centre Manager for the development of the child.

7. Where necessary, conduct home visitation, do reports and submit them to the Centre Manager.

**III Programmes Facilitation**

8. Work closely with the Centre Manager/ Programme Facilitator to improve teaching resources.

9. Plan school holiday programmes and special programmes such as Children’s Day, National Day, Teacher’s Day,

Christmas Day etc.

**IV Administration**

10. Attend to external stakeholders, staff meetings and staff-sharing sessions.

11. Assist in administrative duties.

12. Work on any other areas that the Centre Manager may direct as and when necessary.
