**5G Advanced Standardization Engineer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research in 3GPP Rel-18 and beyond with focus on Layer 1/Layer 2 technologies, study related technical issues, and working on novel features or techniques relevant to the standards.
- Create relevant intellectual property from research outcomes
- Represent Panasonic in 3GPP standards through making technical contributions, standardization meeting attendance, and discussions with meeting delegates
- Work closely with Panasonic team in monitoring standard development progress, writing meeting report and supporting technical discussions.
- Conduct simulations to support and/or evaluate research work

**Requirements**:

- Good Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related discipline, with strong wireless communication background
- Good understanding and experience with 3GPP cellular communication protocol stack, including LTE and/or 5G system architecture, Physical (PHY), and/or Medium Access Control (MAC) layers
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Skills in wireless simulation using MATLAB and/or other tools will be a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, good team player
