Finance and Consulting Intern

**Role and Responsibilities
**Consulting**
- Work closely with the engagement team, manager and client representative on Consulting engagements in the area such as, but not limited to business strategy and governance, finance (i.e. IFRS) operations, internal governance and process review.
- Define well-thought solutions on industry/client risk issues and support project team to deliver the solutions successfully to the clients, including researching on the project.
- Provide support on proposals and research for business development perspective.
- Work with Account Managers or our esteemed Partners to provide Consulting services (Finance, operations, risk and compliance) to clients and identify client development opportunities
**Assurance**
- Assist in performing audit engagements from engagement planning, preparing audit documentations, financial statements and reports.
- Compilation engagements and consolidation of financial statements and reports
- Communicating accounting and audit matters to audit team and partner
- Liaise and obtaining information from clients
- Assisting in and other assignments and special projects
**Other Requirements**
- Undergraduates pursuing Degree in Accounting, Business (Banking & Finance) and related discipline from a reputable University.
- Prior internship in Financial Service industry experience, internal consulting or audit role is an advantage.
- Strong story boarding, business case development, analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate an interest in working across both non financial services and financial services industry.
- Masters students may be considered for more complex projects
- Internship should be for at least 3 months. Part Time internship of at least 3 days per week may be considered
**Preferred Skills**
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel,Powerpoint, Visio and Projects)
