Vice President, Institutional Investors Coverage

**About the role**:
In your role as Vice President, Institutional Investors Coverage, Financial Institutions you will be a key driver in building out the funds and financial sponsors business in the region, own and be accountable for internal product / structuring discussions and managing client requirements. You will be familiar with the sector’s buying behavior and well-versed in the common structures employed or products purchased by these funds / sponsors, including but not limited to subscription financing, NAV-based lending structures, hedging solutions and fund administration requirements.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Supporting the coverage strategy for the institutional investor segment in APAC in conjunction with the Head of Institutional Investor Coverage for APAC
- Actively manage and pursue relationships with Institutional Investors active in Singapore and the region
- Focus on the origination and development of sustainable, multi-product relationships and a material uplift in revenue generation from the client portfolio
- Help drive the Financial Institutions and broader Global Corporate & Institutional Banking business strategy.
**What we are looking for**:
- 7+ years in banking industry with at least 3+ years’ experience in FIG in a combination of coverage, analysis and/or product roles
- Prior experience in a Regional Relationship Management role a strong benefit
- Bachelor’s degree
- Solid understanding of fund finance solutions, good credit analysis skills, a flair for engineering solutions and a desire to learn and evolve
- Firm understanding of local finance laws and regulations
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments
- Effective communication skills with the ability to distill things to their essence
