**What the day will look like**
- Oversee the daily operations and deliverables of a cross regional team through the implementation of follow the sun team schedule that guarantees service delivery objectives are met on a 24/7/365 basis backfilling vacant shift slots as needed.
- Manage the regional execution of Global Emergency Operations Center (GEOC) engagements and service level agreements for various stakeholder groups across the enterprise ensuring processes are followed, objectives achieved, and quality delivered.
- Enhance team competency by answering technical and procedural questions for other regional leads and less experienced team members; teaching improved processes and providing mentorship as required.
- Accountable for quality control, management of risks and escalations across the APAC team.
- Using predefined trigger points, assess and triage inbound information and deliver it to the applicable stakeholders and Incident Management Teams in a timely manner.
- Ensure each step, action items and deliverable are thoroughly documented during the incident management process.
- Serve as the GEOC’s primary point of contact for all high visibility situations that impact the firm’s people, property and information across but not limited to the APAC region.
- Work with the Global Head, GEOC as needed to ensure third-party vendors adhere to service delivery standards while offering the proper back-end support needed to optimize system capabilities.
- Assist the Global Head, GEOC with any reporting or metrics requests on a monthly quarterly, annual and ad-hoc basis as requested by Senior Leadership or key stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the GEOC’s onboarding and training standards with the assistance of other GEOC regional leads and the Global Head, GEOC.
- Together with the Global Head, GEOC you will work to develop awareness and build global stakeholder partnerships relating to the deployment of the Emergency Communications platform and related crisis/incident communications.
- Participate in the development and implementation of a global emergency mass notification testing strategy for the APAC colleagues and offices.
- Work closely with Business Technology Resilience, Corporate Real Estate, Human Resources and other key stakeholders to support initiatives for physical location, local leadership and colleague emergency contact collection methods.
- Ability to analyze, and process data required to develop and transmit critical emergency information to colleagues and key stakeholders alike via the appropriate communications channels.

The Global Emergency Operations Center (GEOC) group helps protect Aon’s people, property, and information through a robust 24/7/365 incident response and intelligence operations program. Reporting to the Global Head, GEOC, the APAC Regional Lead will be flexible with the ability operate in a fast-paced environment while providing expert operational guidance and support to team members during situations that impact the global security for all assets, employees and property. You will be responsible for carrying out the operational directives and strategic vision as outlined by the Global Head, GEOC. Leading and supporting team members during high impact/visibility situations and working closely with stakeholders and vendors alike to ensure all internal processes, operational platforms and systems maintain a ready state.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Degree with focus in Emergency Management, Homeland Security or a related field a plus
- Practical experience in a security command/intelligence/emergency operations center environment
- 4-6 + years of experience administering emergency response programs; managing emergency notification platforms a plus
- 3-5 + years of emergency operations center experience
- 1-3 + years of vendor platform integration
- Advanced skills with Excel or other database manipulation tools.
