Singlife is the exclusive insurance provider for the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs and Public Officers Group Insurance Scheme. Singlife is also an official signatory of the United Nations Principles for Sustainable Insurance and the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment, affirming its commitment to finding a better way to sustainability. The merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife was announced in September 2020 and created one of the largest homegrown financial services companies in Singapore in a deal valued at S$3.2 billion. It was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time. Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces while maintaining brand consistency and usability principles.
- Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points, and translate findings into actionable design solutions.
- Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize user journeys and product interactions.
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the design aligns with technical and business requirements.
- Serve as the digital design system gatekeeper to ensure designs are aligned across platforms and follow established guidelines.
- Accessibility Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards to provide inclusive experiences for all users.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate innovative design practices.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities.

**Experience**:

- 2-5 years of work experience as a UX Designer in the Financial Services/Insurance industry (preferred).
- Proficient in Figma, Jira, Confluence and Adobe
- Demonstrates experience in designing user-centered digital products, with a portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of UX and UI principles.
- Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders across different functions, balancing user needs with business objectives.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking.
