**Project Director (Events)**

**(Two Months Contract)**

We’re looking for a Project Director to support us on an exciting project for our technology client. Your work will drive event production excellence through the selection and management of venues, technical production, experiential programs, registration, and event logistics. You will create the cadence and drive the weekly WIP agenda with cross-functional teams across multiple markets.

An essential part of this role will also include leading & managing production & creative partner agencies, managing overall project timelines, documents, and budgets, and working alongside our team to drive and ensure objectives and milestones are achieved. As the primary POC for our dedicated team, you will ensure all production needs are met while driving safety & security from planning to execution.

Role:

- Responsible for leading and driving event production excellence (venue, build, user flow & safety) while managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Manage core experiential, registration, translation & logistics agencies
- Organize Kick-off calls and drive a regular cadence of weekly WIPs and production meetings with cross-functional teams
- Lead on driving pre-production meetings and on-site production meetings
- Manage various project timelines on key milestones
- Manage production budgets and payment timelines
- Manage cross-functional alignment on roles and responsibilities
- Manage creative asset execution alongside agency partners
- Work with cross-functional teams to align on production requirements
- Assist in project legal matters
- Draft and manage project planning documents & admin
- Drive registration (website) & invite process
- Drive safety & security from plan to execution and act as primary POC to main Security POC on-site

You:

- 8+ years of project & event management experience, including multi-stakeholder management
- Experience managing clients, production partners, emcees, videographers and photographers
- Experience leading and managing events & experiences / high profile events in the technology sector or brand experience space
- Experience with live-streamed events
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, independent thinker and a good communicator
- Detail-oriented mindset and process driven
- Strong project management, ability to work across project teams on several projects at once, and previous experience working with agencies
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills.
