Job summary:
The Planner will be based in Changi South, Singapore.

What a typical day looks like:

- Manage Sheet Metal/Fabricated and Mechanical commodities.
- Overall ownership to drive sourcing, cost, and delivery
- Develop sourcing strategy & rationalize supplier selection
- Perform parts localizations/alternate sourcing, Interface with the customer on part qualifications.
- To develop and qualify new suppliers
- Resolve part quality issue
- Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

- Interface with the customer on design review/modifications at new product introduction (NPI)
- Provide DFX support to the Product Development team for manufacturability issues, cost
- Able to select the material.
- Provide DFM support to the Product Development team for manufacturability issues, cost
- Manage defect resolution -both dimensional and visual defects
- Provide part & tool (projected for production) cost assessment during NPI, ECN phase
- Metrology management, review to ensure FAI and CP/CPK reports are in place prior product start up

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Requires at least a Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in similar capacity
- Identify redesign cost reduction opportunities
- Work with customers on ECN implementation & design release
- Responsible for Engineering build, Cost benchmark, Tool Projection & management
- AOS Management during the production phase and initial production phase EOL management
