**Job Title: Data Quality Tax Analyst**

**Job Purpose**:
The **Data Quality Tax Analyst** is responsible for executing daily **data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation** activities to ensure the accuracy and consistency of client tax and demographic data. The role supports key operational processes within the Wealth Management division and ensures data integrity across multiple systems.

**Job Background / Context**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily **data quality reviews and tax data cleansing**.
- Analyze and reconcile **complex financial datasets** to ensure data integrity.
- Use **SQL** to query, inspect, and validate large volumes of data.
- **Troubleshoot and resolve** data inconsistencies and system-related issues.
- Act as a **Subject Matter Expert (SME)** on data quality and support other internal teams.
- Collaborate with vendors, technology teams, and operational partners across regions.
- Document business requirements for system improvements and participate in **UAT**.
- Lead or contribute to **small and medium-scale data improvement initiatives**.
- Recommend and implement **process enhancements** for better data accuracy.

**Knowledge / Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Familiarity with data analysis and reconciliation within a financial or operational environment.

**Desirable**:

- Prior experience in a **data quality or operations** role, preferably in a financial institution.

**Skills (Technical)**:
**Essential**:

- **Strong analytical and problem-solving skills**:

- Proficiency in **SQL** for data extraction and reconciliation

**Desirable**:

- Advanced **Microsoft Excel** (pivot tables, formulas, macros)
- Ability to **multi-task and prioritize** in a dynamic environment
- **Strong verbal and written communication** skills

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution, preferably in **Finance, IT, or related fields**

**Desirable**:

- Certifications or coursework in **data analytics, SQL**, or **project management**

**Competencies (Soft Skills)**:

- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong **interpersonal and teamwork** skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working with **confidential and sensitive data**

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,800.00 per month
