Sales Manager- Macro Research- East of Suez

Medley Advisors currently has a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious Sales Manager to join our global business development team, based out of our Singapore office or remote. This is a great career opportunity for a highly driven Business Development Manager, with previous proven success selling macro policy or economic information to the APAC and/or the GCC markets, to join our growing team.

At Medley, our Sales Managers are individual contributors and are responsible for new revenue generation and growth of our subscriptions user base. The individual will be responsible for strategic plans within their set territory, strong collaboration with other parts of the business and delivering customer value by building sound strategies and solutions.

This position will require flexibility and the drive to go beyond the core hours when needed, ensuring we all fulfil our goals. You must be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success.

Duties
- Selling new logo subscription-based services in the GCC countries and APAC.
- Consultatively approaching prospects, you will be responsible for identifying leads, generating new logo sales, and developing the overall business.
- Building strong client relationships that translate prospects needs into business opportunities.
- Developing and driving strategies that focus on revenue growth.
- Building strong collaborative relationships across the business.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and sales information in Salesforce.

**Requirements**:

- You must be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritizing to achieve success.
- Significant experience in related financial information focused organizations, with a strong transferable clientele network in the APAC and/or GCC markets.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
- Experience building relationships, identifying leads and closing deals up to C-suite.
- Fluency in English with excellent negotiation & presentation skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with prospects and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to understand customer workflows and the decision-making process.

Desirable skills
- Ability to understand and articulate the intersection of policy, politics, and macroeconomics with financial markets.
- In addition to English, fluency in a second language would be beneficial.
