In 2021, 79 Zetabytes (1ZB =1e9 TB) was generated and continues to grow exponentially. Most of it is on HDD (hard disk drives). We are the leaders in designing and delivering data storage solutions for solid state and hard disk drive controllers.

Job Responsibilities:
- Understand the system and block level design of the read channel and associated blocks- Execute the validation plan in a timely manner using standard test equipment such as Waveform Generators, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, etc and in-house tools- Work with designers to debug, understand and document any issues that may arise during validation and do a root cause analysis with help from designers and senior engineers if needed, to drive closure- Learn and leverage product and system knowledge to spot potential bugs and weaknesses in design so they can be fixed ahead of tape out- Provide technical documentation and relevant information to Field Application Engineers, Test Engineers, Customers, and other stakeholders as required- Write, review, and maintain software used to automate bench testing.- Generate professional validation reports and comparative performance analysis of the read channel devices

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 7 to 10 years of related professional experience.
- Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-8 years of experience.- Solid C/C++/Python SW development skills- Proficiency in silicon validation of mixed signal/analog/digital ICs and blocks is required- Knowledge of digital signal processing is required.- Must be adept in handling test equipment like oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.- Able to work across disciplines and manage time across several demands.- Must have good written and oral communication skills- Experience in HDD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry is a plus- A good understanding of embedded SW development, and basic knowledge of micro-processor or SOC architecture is a plus- Knowledge of NVME, PCIe, UFS, SAS, SATA is a plus but not required to succeed in this role
