**About this job**:
We are looking to hire a Senior Pricing Actuary, Life and Health to join our growing team in Hong Kong, reporting to the market Head of Pricing, Greater China and South East Asia. In this role you will be responsible for the pricing of life reinsurance treaties and support the product development primarily for Hong Kong and South East Asia markets.

**About the team**:
The regional pricing team is responsible for the pricing of Life & Health business written in the Asia Pacific region. Across these markets we write group and individual protection business, both in short and in long-term lines.

**About the role**:
The role provides the opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of products. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of our pricing team and the wider enhancement of PartnerRe’s Life & Health propositions.

You will be responsible for performing actuarial pricing exercises and supporting the deal underwriter in preparing responses to tenders. This typically involves carrying out actuarial analyses, proposing and owning assumptions, and providing technical expertise.

In detail your responsibilities will include:

- ** Helping to grow the Asia Pacific Life business - a high priority objective for Partner**Re**:

- Developing, enhancing and maintaining pricing benchmarks, tools and efficient methods of carrying out existing processes
- Working closely and collaborating with internal stakeholders in pricing initiatives and allocated projects
- Promoting PartnerRe’s expertise through targeted marketing efforts, supporting client visits and externally representing and promoting PartnerRe's capabilities

**Qualifications**:
You enjoy collaborating with your colleagues as well as working on your own. Your preference is to be part of an international and multicultural environment, handling diverse tasks, yet always ready to serve the team and meet the business needs.

You have the following background, skills and mindset:

- Qualified Life Actuary (FIA or equivalent) with 8+ years’ actuarial experience with minimum of 3 years post-qualification.
- Experience in life reinsurance pricing is preferred.
- Sound understanding in life and health insurance products in Hong Kong / South East Asia region.
- Ability to analyse big data sets, identify key insights and provide technical recommendations combined with commercial judgement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an effective way
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Self-starter, willing to go beyond what is required, and able to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Proficiency in programming languages and actuarial software (R/Python/Axis/Prophet) is advantageous
