**Position Summary**
- Able to utilize AutoCAD for 2D drafting, AVEVA for 3D Modelling.
- Build up the knowledge in marine engineering design for hull structure, deck machinery and steel outfitting.
- Familiar with Class rules and Authorities regulations.
- Verify vendor certified document in line with signed technical agreement.
- Visualize the process of the shipbuilding through the 3D software.
- Generate hull production drawings from 3D model. Complete other assigned tasks within allocated timeline in good quality.

**Tasks and **Responsibilities**
- Able to perform the foundation design (2D drawing and 3D model) for equipment
- Able to perform the outfitting design (2D drawing and 3D model) for Manhole, Ladder, Railing, etc.
- Able to check Class rules/ specification requirement for design compliance
- Able to prepare technical specification for hull equipment
- Able to check vendor drawing vs technical requirement
- Able to prepare 3D model for hull structure, deck machinery, foundation and outfitting items
- Able to extract material take-off from 3D model
- Able to generate nesting drawing, structure drawing, foundation drawing from 3D model
- Able to on-board verify for design drawing vs actual production work
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hull design and engineering, preferably in the shipbuilding or offshore industry.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and classification society rules.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for hull design and analysis.
- Ability to perform structural calculations and analysis, including finite element analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Flexibility to travel to project sites and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
