Assistant Manager, Value Driven Outcome

Strategically develop, plan, manage, implement and monitor Value Driven Outcomes (VDO) across the 4 IHH SG hospitals (Gleneagles, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Parkway East Hospital). The aim of VDO is to demonstrate clinical value through quality over the costs.
The VDO data collection, analysis and improvement initiatives are geared towards improving quality outcomes which include clinical outcomes and Patients Reportable Outcomes Measures (PROMs) and reducing costs. Some of the improvement initiatives involve developing and revising of Clinical Care Pathways and Clinical Improvement Plans. This will serve to demonstrate our value proposition to the patient and secondarily the payors. The VDO team thus functions to create transparency and build trust with our patients, establishing IHH SG as the benchmark of quality and healthcare provider of choice.
**Key accountabilities**:
- 1) Collect, analyse and report clinical outcomes and financial data on a regular cadence for sharing of data insights at various hospitals and doctors' forums. Clinical outcomes data include quality indicators and Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).
2) To work closely with various stakeholders (e.g. hospital operations team, doctors, nurses, Care Pathway team) to develop or revise Clinical Improvement Plan (CIP) and Care Pathways to drive improvements in patients' outcomes.
3) To map the patient journey from pre to post procedure, and work with various stakeholders (e.g. specialists, nurses, IT and Data Analytics team) to develop methodologies to implement and measure outcomes (i.e. quality indicators and PROMs) over cost for key procedures identified by IHH Group management.
4) Provide secretariat support and/or participate as an active member in the committees and workgroups supported by the team.
5) Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- 1) Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science or related discipline.
2) At least 4 years of experience in a healthcare industry.
3) Ability to perform data analysis and present data into coherent information and knowledge. Basic understanding of biomedical statistics to derive conclusions and recommendations.
5) Possess basic competency in clinical quality frameworks and methodologies for measuring quality and clinical quality improvement tools.
6) Meticulous and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good presentation skills.
7) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
8) Prior experience in team management will be an advantage.
