Research Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Officer specializing in AI and spatial multi-omics to join our cutting-edge research team. This role focuses on advancing cancer immunotherapy (IO) for Asian-prevalent tumors through the integration of Generative AI techniques and spatial multi-omics data analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to address critical challenges in immunotherapy, such as the identification of effective biomarkers and an in-depth understanding of the tumor microenvironment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Multi-Omics-IO Classifier Development**: Develop and validate a classifier to integrate IO biomarkers identified from the multi-omics analyses, benchmarked against conventional markers (e.g., PD-1/PD-L1).
**2. AI Model Development**: Create AI models for virtual staining to visualize gene expression and multi-omics biomarkers.
**3. Collaboration & Reporting**: Collaborate with pathologists, immunologists, and AI researchers to ensure robust, clinically relevant model development. Prepare reports, presentations, and manuscripts for publication.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor degree in AI/ML, or a related field with a strong focus on imaging and deep learning.
**Technical Skills**: Expertise in AI techniques and experience in omics data analysis.
Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
**Domain Knowledge**: Familiarity with cancer immunotherapy and biomarker development.
**Collaboration & Communication**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and technical staff.
