**About our group**:
We are a team of Data Analysis professionals from Seagate. We are responsible for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and operations. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) allows for real-time data analysis and decision-making, predictive maintenance, and the optimization of production processes. We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support the “Smart Factory” initiative, to make better decisions and maximize operational excellence.

**About the role - you will**:
AI ML transfer learning is a technique in machine learning where a model trained on a task is re-purposed and fine-tuned for a related but different task. This allows the model to leverage knowledge gained from the first task to improve performance on the second task, rather than starting from scratch. Transfer learning can greatly speed up the training process and improve results, especially when the second task has limited data availability.

You will work with our Data Scientist and AI/ML Engineers to:

- Research and propose on a platform or open-source library that simplifies each step in the machine learning process, from handling a raw dataset to deploying a practical machine learning model
- Evaluate Deep Learning Models with different dataset, e.g., Tabular dataset and Time series dataset
- Big data preprocessing concept
- Some Deep Learning platform example:

- Tensorflow and Keras (our focus)
- Sklearn

**About you**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields
- Highly passionate about data science
- Proactive and a good team player
- Strong analytical skills

**Your experience includes**:

- High proficiency in Python programming language, specifically in NumPy and Pandas libraries
- Familiarity with AI Machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries. E.g.:

- Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)
- Encoder and Decoder
- Comfortable with Unix/Linux environments
- Hands-on experience of code collaboration and version control (Git)
