Singapore Lions Home for the Elders Full time

Job Summary
- Befriending elderly residents.
- Provide support and assistance to nursing staff in the delivery of residents’ care in the Home.
- Assist in the maintaining a clean, orderly and safe environment for the residents.
- Carried out residents’ care duties under the supervision and direction of the nursing staff.
- Assist the nursing staff to conduct activity sessions for the residents.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Secondary qualification and above
- Able to speak simple English
- Hands-on person, organized & able to multi-task
- Possess good interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure residents safety during activity sessions.
- To maintain good housekeeping.
- Ensure residents’ hygiene, comfort and safety at all times.
- To take instructions and guidance of the nursing staff in the ward.
- Keep in confidence any information related to residents and LHE policies.
- Be familiar with Fire and Safety Policy of LHE.
- To assist with the lifting and transferring of residents.
- Participate in in-service training programme on basic residents’ care conducted in LHE.
- Any other responsibilities delegated by the Nurse Manager in line with the needs of the Home.
