We are hiring a woodworking intern to join our team. As an intern, you will be responsible for the daily tasks of preparing the necessary tools and equipment to conduct the classes and assisting the head instructor.
This role is suitable for fresh graduates that are looking to step into the woodworking and crafts industry as you will be learning the basics of designing, planning, and managing classes.
We’re looking for a self-starter with a strong desire to learn and create. The role requires drive and a sense of accountability because the day-to-day working environment will involve meeting new students and providing verbal instructions.

**Responsibilities**
Assist instructors and apprentices with basic woodworking classes
Learn to use workshop equipment and hand tools proficiently
Learn to teach and instruct according to WeWood Studio’s standards
Learn the history and usages of different wood species
Demonstrate initiative in learning new woodworking projects
Conceptualizing and building prototypes, and lesson plans
Report weekly to the workshop manager about the learning progress
Keep the workshop tidy and ready for classes
Comply with proper safety procedures
**JOB REQUIREMENT**
**Qualifications**
Diploma in Arts & Design (preferred)
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp
Proficiency in CAD and CAM software such as Fusion360 is a bonus
Experience working in a teaching and/or the service industry
Experience with woodworking equipment and tools (preferred)
Clear and effective communication in English and Mother Tongue

**Hours & Compensation**
Work Days: Wed-Sun
Work Hours: 9 am - 6 pm
Remuneration: $800
OT - You will be required to work overtime when necessary.
Commitment - Minimum 3-6 months
