Steward

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Steward** to join our food manufacturing team. The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of production equipment, utensils, and facilities, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. This role supports the smooth functioning of the production process by ensuring all areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with company SOPs and food safety standards.
- Dispose of waste and used materials in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of production lines and equipment as required.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report inventory shortages to supervisors.
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation levels in the production facility and report any non-compliance issues.
- Follow and adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and occupational health & safety protocols.
- Assist in deep cleaning and periodic sanitation processes as per the master cleaning schedule.
- Support the production team with general housekeeping and cleaning during and after shifts.
- Operate cleaning machines and tools safely and correctly.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
- Must ensure all washing tasks are completed within the designated working hours.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High school certifications or equivalent
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or industrial cleaning is a plus.
- Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards, especially in food production.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and pay attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures (MSDS knowledge is a plus).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per month
