[What the role is]

Principal Assistant Engineer, Vertical Transport & Tunnel E&M

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the team that manages and maintains road tunnel system assets to ensure a safe and tenable environment for road users. You will be involved in maintenance activities and system implementation including site supervision works, monitoring of maintenance KPIs, tender and design review, installation, testing and commissioning.

You will have an opportunity to work on various Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)-based monitoring and control systems and traffic systems such as message signs, barriers, and Automatic Incident Detection (AID).

Your key responsibilities include the following:

- Plan and coordinate project/maintenance activities and ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards, statutory regulation, operations and maintenance requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure works done by contractors are executed based on contract specifications and timeline.

[What we are looking for]
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or relevant field
- Able to work independently and perform night works when required
- Organised and resourceful team player with the ability to multi-task
