Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to oversee the primary processes for RFID/IoT products, specifically focusing on transponder production (inlay and label products) and chip and component assembly processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality production while driving process improvements and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. - Oversee the processes for RFID/IoT products, including transponder production (inlay and label products) and chip and component assembly processes.
- Contribute to new product and process developments, including concept verification, production buy-off, material qualification, and new product handover to production.
- Perform in-process testing and verification to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Define production process flows to ensure smooth operations and optimize efficiency.
- Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for each product.
- Lead and conduct process improvements, focusing on increasing hourly output and yield.
- Lead machine buy-off activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Collaborate with the R&D team to facilitate product transfers from research to mass production, including participation in pilot productions.
- Generate relevant documentation and reports, such as production procedures and work instructions. Provide training to other staff members to ensure knowledge transfer within the company.
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Serve as the interface between the Program Department and Production, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Work closely with Product Development/R&D teams to understand requirements for new products and technologies and provide valuable insights and recommendations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's (or Master's) Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Chemical/Material Science Degree, or a similar field
- Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in the RFID/IoT industry or semiconductor manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of transponder production processes, including Flip Chip and component assembly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
- Experience in new product and process development, including concept verification, production buy-off, and material qualification
- Familiarity with in-process testing and verification methodologies
- Experience in RFID industry, antenna knowledge and RF design, and Flip-Chip assembly machine knowledge is highly preferred
- Proficient in generating Bill of Materials (BOM) and process flow documentation.
- Experience in leading process improvement initiatives to increase output and yield.
- Ability to lead machine buy-off activities and collaborate with R&D teams for product transfers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control processes
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.)
