**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Content Strategist plays a pivotal role alongside the creative team and relationship managers in producing thought-leadership and highly engaging content for the purpose of lead acquisition and brand awareness. The experienced content strategist will help research, produce, and curate content that is aligned with campaign objectives. The strategist is also responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality and engagement of the content by holding the creative team accountable for their own standard and development. Leadership skills, strategic mindset, problem solver, excellent communication, and being highly organized are some of the traits required for the role.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**_Project Delivery (50%) _**
- Oversee manage project priorities, content requirements and create content strategy deliverables across different projects including conducting content audits as well as gap analyses while ensuring timely delivery
- Has the ability to compellingly communicate a brand’s story, and a design to envision how content will be formatted, presented, or distributed while working with internal and external collaborators and creative resources to deliver assets that are coherent with clients’ brand voice and strategy.
- Assist with integrating content strategy and time-specific brand campaigns to drive campaign goals.
- Test and implement innovative and relevant methods of measuring content, campaigns, and tools, keeping in mind the purpose of the derived results.
- Communicate to and manage expectations of relevant stakeholders.
**_In-House Marketing Operations (30%) _**
- Create and edit content, mobilizing storytelling opportunities on all channels — owned, earned, and paid platforms.
- Develop, maintain and/or improve brand voice to ensure consistency across all content assets.
- In charge of creating and maintaining editorial calendars, style guides, quality assurance process, and priority management system.
**_People Operations (20%) _**
- Manage resources within the creative team (Designers and Copywriters).
- Lead and nurture team growth through effective mentorship and influence behavior by providing detailed instruction, supporting rationale, and ongoing feedback that is tailored to the individual.
- Conduct individual performance development and review meetings.
**_Qualification and Experience _**
- Proven 3 years of experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager, or any similar role
- Portfolio of past campaigns
- Must be experienced in project management and has the ability to navigate matrixed relationships, manage numerous partners, and coordinate resources to deliver desired outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.
- Must be proficient in Google Workspace apps
**_Technical and Soft Skills _**
- Must be an idea generator and problem-solver with excellent communication organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of content strategies, content management systems, keyword research tools, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- A solid understanding of copywriting and designing for performance marketing activities.
- Excellent written and spoken interpersonal skills; with exceptional presentation skills and can clearly articulate your ideas.
