Roles & Responsibilities

Lucence is a fast-growing precision oncology company with offices in Singapore, California, Hong Kong and Suzhou. Join our mission to fight cancer and drive the company’s growth by managing the financial needs of our business as our Director, Finance.

Key responsibilities:

- Formulating sound financial strategies and implementing proper internal controls to support revenue growth while managing risks.
- Overseeing accounting operations including A/R, A/P, billing, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Coordinating and directing budgeting preparation, financial forecasting, and reporting variances.
- Managing the preparation of monthly financial statements, regulatory reporting, year-end financial audits, information for due diligence processes by investors, month-end, and year-end closings as required.
- Managing and ensuring the compliance of the company’s accounting standards with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings across our offices.
- Streamlining accounting functions and operations as relevant to boost operational efficiencies.

To be a good fit for this role, you would have:

- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closings. At least 5 years of combined accounting and finance experience is preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Director, Finance/Financial Controller is advantageous.
- The ability to lead a team of account/finance executives in achieving team deliverables and milestones.
- The ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and a high degree of meticulousness.
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines.
- The flexibility to work dynamically with key executives in the US, which may require accommodating US time zones at times.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Fully Vaccinated.
