Senior Manager Contract Logistics

**Facilities Management**
- Ensure warehouse facilities are maintained in a safe and operable condition. This includes areas inside and around the warehouse areas as well as common areas like walkways and toilets.
- Setup potential warehouse for new business vertical.

**Inventory and Resource Management**
- Ensure the safety and accurate accounting of all cargoes stored in the warehouse.
- Responsible for people and warehousing resources management to deliver effective and efficient operation services to customers.
- Ensure achievement of 100% accuracy of inventory records via Monthly inventory reconciliation.

**Operations and Process Management**
- Ensure all warehouse processes are properly documented and reviewed periodically.
- Establish KPIs for key processes and ensure they are achieved on a regular basis.
- Resolve logistics service failures directly with customers and operational team. Strong in CAPA (CAPA) analyze and resolutions.
- Implement Kaizen solutions in warehouse operations management and lead team members to deliver excellent quality logistics services in achieving customers’ KPI.
- Manage drumming / decanting operations to ensure efficient transfer, packing and storage of cargo.
- Work with management team to optimize warehousing and logistics operation

**Purchasing**
- Manage the consumables of the warehouse and establish a cost-effective procurement strategy.

**People Management**
- Lead, manage and supervise a team to complete the assigned tasks and goals.
- Increase effectiveness and efficient services to customers of assigned Contract Logistics Department(s) / Warehouse site(s) by recruiting, selecting, coaching, and counselling managers, communicating values, strategies and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring and reviewing job results

**Warehouse Management System**
- Be knowledgeable with and able to execute and guide the usage of the warehouse inventory management system.
- Troubleshoot issues with IT and suggest areas of improvement for enhancements.

**Transportation Management**
- Manage and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders for transport planning.
- Manage transport vendors pricing and service delivery. Conduct regular reviews with transport vendors.

**Customer Service**
- Establish standard operating procedures with the client and monitor mutually agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Build good customer relationships to achieve effective relationships.

**Corrective Action Management**
- Ensure require audits of operations to spot errors and areas of improvement.
- Develop effective corrective and preventive measures for service failures.

**Safety**
- Drive Safety culture with daily toolbox meetings and regular safety audits.
- Ensure the working safety of all staff by managing the work environment, working hours, equipment and tools as well working conditions including items like pest control.

**Regulatory**
- Ensure all government regulations related to the warehouse and the storage and handling of the goods stored in the warehouse are met.
- Review regulations on timely basis and update all staff regarding new and changes to existing regulations.

**Sustainability**
- Regularly review and suggest ideas and initiatives to improve warehouse sustainability.

**IT**
- Embrace and successfully drive implementation of IT tools which are introduced.

**Commercial**
- Profit and Loss ownership.
- Report the financial performance of the warehouse and its clients.
- Work closely with the Senior Logistics Manager to deliver on the company’s business plan.
- Analyze, develop, and recommend strategies and solutions for assigned Contract Logistics Department(s) / Warehouse site(s) to the management by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting assumptions and recommending objectives.

**Documentations**
- Conduct and prepare the material for operational review meeting (e.g. Monthly Operation Review, Quarterly Operation Review, Operation Improvement Review, etc.) with internal and external customers.

**Others**
- Ensure accurate and on-time billings to customer.
- Take lead for any new projection implementation.
- Other’s adhoc task assigned by direct superior.

**Requirements**:

- Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Service oriented
- Knowledge of contract logistics operations
- Knowledge of project cargoes operations - offshore and marine is beneficial
- Meticulous
- Experience or possess knowledge in offshore and marine operations is an advantage.
- Possess Tertiary qualifications.
- Experienced in contract logistics operations and managing projects related to contract logistics
- Minimum 6 Years of experience in a relevant/similar capacity.
