Assistant Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking

Our client is an expanding, strong balance sheet Asian Bank, is currently searching for an Assistant Relationship Managers (“ARM”) in Singapore. The ARM’s role is to support the Relationship Managers for their Corporate Banking/FI/Commercial Banking Teams for the Southeast Asian Hub located in Singapore.

**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:
- Able to understand and evaluate any financial risks of the customer and participate in periodic reviews
- Perform know-your-customer (“KYC”) onboarding in compliance with the MAS regulation for all customers
- Handle customers’ inquiries, liaise and develop relationship and business with Head Office, overseas branches and inter-departments as well as corporate customers
- Ensure compliance with local & internal regulations
**To be eligible for this ARM role you will require**:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking and Finance or any related discipline
- At least 2 to 4 years’ relevant experience within the Corporate Banking/Audit sectors
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence and persuade, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Client focused, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Mandarin skills (conversational Mandarin) to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties and clients
