Warehouse Datacenter Supervisor

The Warehouse Datacenter Supervisor is responsible for supervision of onsite datacenter coordinators in performing the logistics functions of the datacenter.
**YOUR ROLE**

Position requires weekly client meetings and progress reports given to upper management. Position ensures all SOP’s are followed and contract requirements are met by all onsite personnel.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all SOP’s are followed and adhered to by warehouse datacenter
employees
- Ensure chain of custody is adhered to in all processes within the datacenter
- Supervise personnel in associated datacenters for that region
- Liaison between Morgan Stanley Management and onsite resources to address
any immediate concerns or issues
- Conduct weekly management meetings with Morgan Stanley personnel to review
progress and discuss any issues
- Help Morgan Stanley management with any ad hoc requests as needed
- Escalate issues that cannot be addressed at supervisory level to QIC upper
management
- Implement any new processes after agreement between Morgan Stanley
management and QIC management
- Areas of focus:

- Prevention of data loss
- Prevention of asset loss
- Accountability to SOP’s
- Work with Morgan Stanley management on process improvement plans in
conjunction with QIC management
- Report on scheduling and attendance for payroll requirements
- Prepare Ad hoc report requests from management as needed
- Travel between both datacenters as needed for meetings, reviews and
supervisory oversight
- Special projects onsite and offsite as needed
- Assist in warehouse operations including, but not limited to physical receiving,
receipting, packing outbound shipments, scanning, moving, loading, relocating,
and stacking product.
- Liaison with all couriers and carriers
- Movement of freight, inventory of goods, storage and maintenance of client
products, pick & pack for various clients
- Assist on site clientele as requested
- Maintain a safe and clean facility
- Enforce security protocols to safeguard facility, personnel, and contents within.
- Ongoing training to learn operations, cost aspects of jobs and P&L impact
- Customer service - receiving and answering calls from customers, trouble shoot
and solve issues regarding in transit shipments, routing
- Re-routing of freight and small parcels as needed
- Liaison with internal co-workers and external agents, obtain charges, negotiate costs of services, trace/track/pod shipments
- Assisting drivers with deliveries where a helper or additional manpower is
required
- Provide manpower at client sites when needed
- Provide support in on-site as well as off-site projects and fulfillments
- Assist in the supervision and interaction with temp labor when utilized for various functions and any other “outside the box” requirements associated with client requested projects
- “Jump in” in all aspects of the operation when needed for vacation coverage,
productivity needs and as other areas in an as needed basis

- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance & stoop.
- The employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move packages up to 70 LBS
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack & forklift.
- Must be able to view computer monitors both at close range and distance.
- 3-5 years of related industry experience
