Job Summary

Manufacturing Production Process Engineering focuses on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods including:
1. Designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout

2. Designing the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory conditions

3. Conducting tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshooting/solving production problems

4. Providing guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques -Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations

Major Accountabilities

1. Maintain equipment performance (yield/cycle time/downtime) before and after Preventive Maintenance.

2. To be able to perform Preventive Maintenance on the equipment with mínimal resources.

3. To able to perform level 1 machine troubleshooting and to ensure good machine performance.

4. Meet quality, yield and OEE through improvement in planned maintenance programs.

5. Schedule, perform and complete the “Preventive Maintenance Program”.

6. Review and continuously improve on the planned maintenance program.

7. Attend to breakdown of instruments and control equipment and ensure all activities are in compliance to SOP, ISO, GMP/GDP, HSE and FDA regulations.

8. Record and maintain maintenance records of the preventive maintenance work performed.

9. Comply, maintain and contribute a safe working environment thru 5S, HSE & Quality improvement.

10. Maintain good housekeeping and 5S at the work place.

11. Plan and perform parts repair.

12. To drive continuous improvement (Kaizen Project) in equipment performance.

13. Manage Change Request, support for SOP creation/revision and technical training.

14. To provide a support for non-conformance reports and customer complaints
