The Role*
As the successful applicant you will be part of the team that operates and develops the fund’s data processes and ensures the whole organisation has good quality data available for investment, trading, compliance, and risk management purposes.

To find and implement new investment opportunities, the fund is always on the lookout for new data, and you will work closely with internal teams and data vendors to implement new data requirements. As a team we are continuously improving our data processes and controls and look forward to your contribution to this work through applied information technology.

The position is in Singapore and will report to the Head of Data Core. Some travel should be expected.

What you will do*
This is a collaborative environment conducive to working on some of the following tasks:

- Develop, support, and manage data loads into and between the fund’s main systems
- Ensure we as a team operate with sound data quality processes and that the fund’s functions have good quality data available every day
- Further develop the fund’s data warehouse and other data and analytics solutions
- Follow-up external data providers to ensure best-market practice and efficient processes
- Contributing to the development of internal tools and models using the latest available technology including cloud-based services
- Implement automation and identify process improvements for the team and across the organisation

What you need*
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with strong academic records
- Experience from the financial industry would be an advantage but not a requirement
- Strong interest in data science and analytics
- Development skills including SQL, data analytics and cloud computing tools
