**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

The Artificial Intelligence CoE team in IES Technology Services is pushing the SAP internal adoption of Machine Learning through all business processes. We are implementing standard product functionality from the SAP AI portfolio as well as custom-built AI scenarios for internal business cases. In this field, we have many existing projects on the horizon and lots of room for experimentation.

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- Work with a team of AI scientists, AI Engineers, and Product Owners
- Participate in and execute the design process, which would involve brainstorming, wire framing, prototyping, and validating of implementation
- Revise and update designs and documentation through user testing and customer feedback
- Strong understanding of UX patterns and visual design and their impact on front-end development
- Collaborate with other team members in an Agile and remote mode
- Able to commit at least 12 working weeks
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**

Required skills
- Experience with using visual design software (e.g. Figma, Balsamiq, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator) to create visual elements of a product
- Able to produce high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, user flows and mockups
- Understanding of UX patterns, visual design, color theory, information architecture and its impact on front-end development
- Ability to collate and evaluate user requirements via user research and usability testing
- Strong visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Interest in continuous improvement and ongoing ways to enhance the user experience
- Passion for learning new architecture and tools
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred skills
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
- Knowledge in at least one front-end framework (e.g. React/Angular/Vue) is a plus
- Experience with SAP tools, e.g. UI5/Fiori is a plus
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Undergraduate/graduate/polytechnic students from any university/polytechnic.
- Students with non-technical majors and self-learned front-end/UIUX skills are welcome to apply.
