**About The Role**:
We are looking to hire a General Practitioner / Resident Family Physician to helm a new GP clinic and provide consultations and patient care. The clinic is located in the Northern part of Singapore.

**Job Responsibilities**:
Job responsibilities of the General Practitioner / Resident Family Physician include, but are not limited to the following:

- Perform professional consultation services at the clinic or via tele-consultation for patients of all age groups and demographic backgrounds
- Formulate appropriate diagnoses, investigations, treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications to patients based on their presenting complaints and relevant medical history
- Manage acute and chronic conditions, taking into account relevant biopsychosocial factors when doing so
- Advise and recommend patients appropriate health screening packages and provide meaningful actionable insights during review of their test results
- Perform minor surgical procedures such as toilet & suture, incision & drainage, etc. with due care taken to ensure aseptic technique
- Perform routine phlebotomy, intravenous cannulation as required and manage different types of wounds with appropriate dressing materials
- Order and review laboratory/imaging tests for patients as necessary
- Perform pre-employment screenings and various statutory medical checks
- Advise on and perform adult and/or childhood vaccinations as appropriate
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patients' consultations and care provided

**Requirements**:

- Full Singapore Medical Council registration
- GDFM/FP preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in Family Medicine/A&E/General Practice
- Active MPS (or other provider) medical indemnity insurance required
- Must be comfortable working with patients of all ages and demographic backgrounds
- Possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, good bedside manner and clinical acumen
- Stay up-to-date on current medical and MOH practices/regulations

**Working Hours**:

- Provide an estimated 44 hours of work per week, providing consultation and other appropriate services to our patientsWorking hours are as follows: Mondays to Fridays - 8.00am to 12.30pm, 2.00pm to 5.30pm AND one weekend morning shift on Saturday OR Sunday - 8.00am to 12.30pm
